Kudrow, 61, informed Drew Barrymore on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, that she “not too long ago discovered” a be aware written to her by Perry whereas the pair have been engaged on the ultimate episode of Friends in 2004.
Perry, who died in October 2023 on the age of 54 after struggling acute results of ketamine, had positioned the be aware inside a cookie jar prop he had taken from the hit TV comedy series’ set. “Matthew gave that to me on the finish of our final episode,” Kudrow informed Barrymore, 49. “I had not too long ago discovered the be aware that he had in it for me. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s workplace launched a toxicology report concluding that Perry died from ketamine results, with drowning, coronary artery illness and the consequences of buprenorphine (used to deal with opioid use) listed as contributing elements.
In a tribute to Perry posted through Instagram on November 15 that 12 months, Kudrow wrote, “Thanks for making me giggle so exhausting at one thing you mentioned, that my muscle groups ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY. Thanks to your open coronary heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise. And a number of ‘speaking.’ Thanks for displaying up at work while you weren’t properly after which, being utterly sensible.”
